1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Expense Manager application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Age Restrictions

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. As per Indian regulations for financial applications, users must be legally capable of entering into contracts.

2. Service Description

Expense Manager is an Android application that:

  • Automatically scans Gmail emails for transaction receipts
  • Uses artificial intelligence to categorize expenses
  • Stores expense data locally on your device
  • Provides expense tracking and reporting features
  • Allows data export in CSV format

The App is provided "as is" for personal expense tracking purposes only.

3. User Account and Registration

Google Account Integration

  • You may connect your Google account to enable Gmail scanning
  • Connection is established through Google's official OAuth 2.0 process
  • You grant read-only access to your Gmail messages
  • No Google account passwords are stored by the App

OpenAI API Configuration

  • You may optionally provide your own OpenAI API key
  • This enables AI-powered expense categorization
  • API keys are stored locally on your device
  • You are responsible for any OpenAI API usage costs

4. Data Collection and Usage

What We Access

When you grant permission, the App accesses:

  • Email Headers: Subject, sender, date information
  • Email Body: Full content to identify transactions
  • Email Metadata: Message IDs and thread IDs

What We Extract

From your emails, we extract only:

  • Transaction amounts
  • Merchant/sender information
  • Transaction dates
  • Transaction descriptions
  • Categories (determined by AI)

What We DON'T Do

  • We do NOT store full email content
  • We do NOT modify or delete emails
  • We do NOT send emails on your behalf
  • We do NOT share email data with third parties (except OpenAI for processing)
  • We do NOT store data on external servers

5. Third-Party Services

Google Gmail API

  • Used to access your email data
  • Governed by Google's Terms of Service
  • Requires explicit user authorization
  • Uses secure OAuth 2.0 authentication

OpenAI API

  • Used for intelligent expense categorization
  • Only transaction-relevant text snippets are sent
  • Governed by OpenAI's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  • Processing occurs only when you sync emails

We are not responsible for the practices, actions, or policies of these third-party services.

6. Privacy and Data Storage

Local Storage

  • All expense data is stored locally on your Android device

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

11. Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You may stop using the App at any time by:

  • Revoking Gmail access
  • Deleting all data through settings

Our Right to Terminate

We may terminate or suspend access if you:

  • Engage in abusive behavior

Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Primakor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

GST and Tax Disclaimer

The App is for expense tracking only. We do not provide GST calculations, tax advice, or ITR filing services. Users should consult qualified professionals for tax matters.

Indian Financial Year Support

The App supports both calendar year and Indian financial year (April-March) for expense tracking and reporting.

Data Localization

All your data is stored locally on your device within India when you use the App in India, complying with data localization requirements.
