PrimaPrompter — a teleprompter camera that keeps your eyes on the lens
Read the script. Keep eye contact.
A teleprompter and a camera in one app.
Script beside the lens
In portrait the script scrolls in a band just under the lens. In landscape it moves to a column next to it. Your eyes stay on camera.
Your pace, your size
Set the scroll speed and text size to match how you speak. Mirror the text when you need to.
Paste or import
Paste a script from the clipboard, or import a text file through the system file picker.
Resolution and frame rate
Choose the resolution and frame rate you record at.
Trim and save
Trim a take in the app, then save it to Photos or your gallery when you're happy with it.
Stays on your phone
No account, no servers, no analytics, no ads. Scripts and takes never leave your device unless you save or share them.
Privacy isn't a feature here. It's the architecture.
On your device
Scripts and takes live in the app's private storage on your phone. Delete the app and they're gone.
We have no servers
There's no Primakor backend, no account, and no sign-in. The app sends nothing off your device.
Nothing watching
No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that collect data.
Help with PrimaPrompter
Email mayank@primakor.com. Tell us your phone model, OS version, and what happened.
If we ask for a diagnostics log: turn on the diagnostics log in the app, reproduce the problem, then share the log with us from the share sheet. It's off by default, stays in memory on your phone, and is never sent automatically.
Common questions
Where are my scripts and takes stored?
Only on your phone, in PrimaPrompter's private app storage. Nothing is uploaded: there is no Primakor server and no account. Because takes aren't backed up anywhere else, save the ones you want to keep to Photos or your gallery.
How do I save a take to Photos or my gallery?
Open the take and tap Save to Photos. Nothing is saved until you tap it. On iOS the app asks only for add-only access, so it can save a video but never read your library. On Android 13 and newer it needs no permission to save; on Android 12 and older, Android asks once for storage access so the app can add the video, and it never reads your gallery.
How do I delete everything?
Delete the app. Your scripts and takes live only in the app's private storage, so uninstalling removes all of them. We hold no copy, so there's nothing to delete on our side. Takes you already saved to Photos or your gallery stay there until you delete them in your photos app.
Does it work in landscape?
Yes. Turn your phone sideways and the script moves to a column next to the lens. In portrait it sits in a band just under the lens. Either way, you're reading right beside the camera.
Why does it ask for camera, microphone, and photo access?
The camera and microphone record your video, only while you are recording, and everything is processed on your device. Photo access is used only to save a take when you tap Save to Photos.
Does PrimaPrompter cost anything?
No. It's free, with no ads, no in-app purchases, and no account to create.
The PrimaPrompter privacy policy is short because there isn't much to say. The app collects no personal data and sends nothing off your device. It covers camera, microphone, and photo access, file import, the clipboard, and the optional diagnostics log.
